Uniqlo Launches Roger Federer RF Collection

After launching the famed RF cap, Uniqlo has put the logo back on clothing for the first time since 2018.

Following the release of the RF cap in December 2020, Uniqlo has announced a new “RF Graphic T-shirt”, and it is the first time the RF logo has appeared on clothing since he left his partnership with Nike in 2018.

Uniqlo and Federer's first foray into the clothing market is a simple crew neck t-shirt, but presumably, there is more to come in the form of training jackets and zip-ups.

The t-shirts are made from high-quality Supima® cotton and have the RF logo on the left chest pocket. They are available in white and black and can be bought in stores or online from late June 2022.

You can check out the design below.

The RF logo is important to me because I can always feel the connection with my fans. In developing a product that follows the RF cap, we proposed a T-shirt because we wanted to make it easier for more people to wear according to their lifestyle. We are very pleased to release this RF graphic T-shirt with UNIQLO and hope that everyone in the world will enjoy their style. Federer on his new Uniqlo RF wear

The Story of the RF Logo

I have several items from Uniqlo made with Supima cotton, which are excellent to wear. Soft against the skin, light and wash well, so these will be no different.

US and UK pricing is not shown yet, but given they go for AUD $29 and THB ฿580, I'd expect around £20 / €20 / $25, which is reasonable.

What do you think of the new RF clothing? Happy? Underwhelmed? Will you be buying? Let me know in the comments.

Huge fan of Roger Federer. I watch all his matches from Grand Slam level right down to ATP 250. When I'm not watching or writing about tennis I play regularly myself and have a keen interest in tactics, equipment and technicalties of the sport.

      1. Odd, could have sworn I’d seen my post from 23rd June appear on here! Oh well …

No sign of it in Wimbledon Uniqlo at the weekend, certainly. But I did manage to get a book from the library: The Master: The Brilliant Career of Roger Federer by Christopher Clarey, so it wasn’t exactly a wasted journey 🙂 I didn’t remember hearing about that one before – it was 2021, so very up-to-date.

  1. Would be nice with a contrasting color on the 2 “F”-lines. Maybe red or green. Or red AND green, enclosig the “R”lines too…

  2. I am waiting for women’s shirts too! Huge fan and have some of his shirts but size is a problem. Hope he is thinking about it. Agree, not sure about the pocket. But glad it’s back

  3. Maybe t-shirt w/o pocket to give everyone a choice? I would want to wear it on the court while playing, and just have a personal preference that there is no pocket. With pocket for casual time; dining, movie, etc. Without pocket for on-court time. Please…

  4. Will the new clothes with the RF be available from tennis shops also , for example , tennis warehouse , or only on line, and for Greece does it exist

  5. Great for guys, I guess. Where oh where is the woman’s t-shirt?
Did I tell you how excited I am….Laver Cup in Vancouver!

      1. No idea. Anyone please let me know if you hear anything about ticket dates! How much are tickets in London?

  6. Looks great! I happen to be in London on release day this Monday, anyone have any idea if Fed himself might be doing a signing or appearance at the main Uniqlo in Oxford Circus? Wishful thinking on my part, but I’d love to get the chance to grab a few photo or a signed cap with the main man on Wimbledon week.

    1. Yeah, I would be more tempted to buy it if there were some different colours. White is ok, but they don’t last very long before looking tatty.
