Roger Federer’s Outfit for the World Tour Finals & Paris Masters 2013

I'm a little late in posting this but here's Roger Federer's outfit for the 2013 World Tour Finals and for the Paris Masters in Bercy. I've also included what he's currently wearing in Basel which is a standard Nike polo without the RF branding.

Overall I think it looks pretty good, it's a teal colour with parachute gold detailing and one of the better ones he's worn this year. Still nowhere near the level of 2011 and 2012 apparel but not a bad effort. I'm calling this a transition year for Nike 😉

I've also included the polo he's currently wearing in Basel below which Roger decided to change into mid way through his match vs. Istomin despite wearing the teal one for the match vs. Mannarino. Maybe once he realised he'd practically qualified for the World Tour Finals he knew Basel wasn't he last chance to wear the Teal one.

Nike describe it as Dark Armory Blue with Cool Grey, I don't mind it, but not a fan of the frontal design that looks abit like it was tie dyed.

What do you guys think? Are Nike back on track?

Huge fan of Roger Federer – I’ll pretty much try and watch all his matches from Grand Slam level right down to ATP 250. When I’m not watching or tweeting about tennis I play regularly myself and use this blog to share my thoughts on Fed and tennis in general.

      1. I don’t even know about that! Great! 🙂 And I like this outfit, this is good combination of yellow-gold and blue color for t-shirt.

  1. Technically Roger needs to win Basel to qualify, though now he’s in the final he’s a lock anyway given the draw in Paris.

Oh and Fed needs the zebra shirt, it’s on a good winning streak. 🙂

  2. Roger is kinda handed a secure seat in london right?? since, he entered final, points defended (though no gain) , and he missed in Paris last year, so whatever outcome will be a net again in points.
speaking of non RF gear, my immediate thought was about some contractual dispute or something, my point is, he has to wear certain RF thing on court right?? I dont think we will get to see him wearing Nadal’s bulls’ line products.
One more thing, on TV, his Vapor Tour shoes look so worn, anyone notice??

    1. Hey Eric,

Yeah he is, although not by how you explain, gaining and losing points doesn’t come into London, it’s just an out and out race.

If he wins Basel he qualifies. Even if he loses Basel, Raonic has to win Paris for him to not qualify.

Non RF gear I think is just a personal choice, he wouldn’t have those shirts given to him if he couldn’t wear them. Probably prefers the design, fabric, ventilation on it.

  3. Yes agree, this is one of few better outfits in the year, I like the descreet golden design but nowhere near the level of the WTF 2012 outfit, one of my all time favorites. The grey one is barely acceptable but somehow it looks too big for him, so not my cup of tea.

Obviously that red one he wore in Shanghai was dissmissed? Usually he wears same outfit in Basel and Paris as Asian tourney, doesn’t he? But not this year…

    1. That purple outfit was nice, I’d buy that if they still sold it.

I know what you mean about the grey one, looks a little baggy like it buries him, must be the stripes that do it.

  4. I like the stripey one. I’m thinking of it as the jailhouse rock shirt rather than zebra. Like the teal one too, the gold detail looks very classy, and I also like the plain dark grey shirt shown. All in all I’m a happy bunny.
