The WTA Poland Open, current known as the BNP Paribas Poland Open due to sponsorship reasons in a WTA 250 tournament that takes place after Wimbledon.
Last year, the tournament took place on the clay courts of the Arka Tennis Club in Gdynia. However, 2022 sees it return to Warsaw, where it was last held in 2004 as the Warsaw Open.
The total prize money on offer in Warsaw is $251,750, an increase of 7.02% when compared to last year.
The winner in the Polish capital will receive a cheque for $33,200, up 13.7% vs twelve months ago.
For the second best player of the week, it is an even better % increase when compared to last year, with a 20.4% jump which translates to $19,750 in prize money.
