Transylvania Open Prize Money 2021

The 2021 Transylvania Open is a WTA 250 event played on the indoor hardcourts of the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca.

Held in October, the tournament follows on from the Winners Open earlier this year, making Cluj one of the few cities to hold two WTA tournament licences.

The total prize money on offer at the Transylvania Open for 2021 is $235,238 (€189,708), the standard amount at all WTA 250 events this year.

Alongside getting to visit an area with wonderful sights and fascinating history, the champion at the Transylvania Open will receive $29,200 in prize money which isn't too shabby for less than a week's work.

The runner up will take home just over half that amount with $16,398 and should help make up for the disappointment of playing behind closed doors after a last-minute change from the inept Romanian Government.

You can see a full prize money breakdown for the Transylvania Open below for both singles and doubles.
