Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Stuttgart Prize Money 2021

The Stuttgart Open, currently known as the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix due to the lead sponsor, is a WTA 500 tournament held at the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart.

The event began life in Filderstadt as a hard court ATP tournament but after just one year it switched to a Tier II women's tournament in 1978. It remained at the Tennis Sporthalle until 2006 when it relocated to Stuttgart. In 2009 it switched to clay courts and is now an important warm-up tournament ahead of the French Open.

With one of the world's most prestigious car manufacturers on board, the remuneration packages have been impressive over the years and the total prize money for 2021 at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is $565,530. This is a decrease of 36.18% compared to when the event was last played in 2019.

Alongside a brand new Porsche to drive away in, the champion will receive a cheque for €68,570 which although down -55.3% from 2019, will still help with the fuel bills.

The runner up is relegated to taking a taxi to the airport, but they still receive a welcome €51,000, down 37.7% from 2019.

You can see a full breakdown of the 2021 Stuttgart Open prize money in the table below. A percentage change is also provided to compare with last season.
