Stockholm Open Prize Money 2021

The Stockholm Open was first held in 1969 and takes place at Kungliga Tennishallen in the country's capital.

Former player Robin Soderling was the tournament director until 2016, and the event has crowned a homegrown champion ten times previously, Thomas Johansson being the last Swedish winner in 2004.

Originally held on carpet courts, the event is now played on an indoor hard court and provides a last-minute points grab for players who are still in the running of qualifying for the ATP Finals in London.

Alongside 250 ranking points, there's also a health prize money pool up for grabs, and for 2021 the total Stockholm Open prize money is €635,750, which is identical to the amount offered in 2019.

However, the prize structure has changed slightly; the champion in Stockholm this year will pick up €98,030, which is -10.5% less than the figure Denis Shapovalov received two years ago.

Instead, the earlier rounds receive a small pay rise compared to 2019; first-round losers, for example, get 2.5% more than they did twenty-fourth months ago with €6,565. Hardly inflation-beating but better than nothing.

You can see a full breakdown of the 2021 Stockholm Open prize money in the table below. A percentage change is also provided to compare with last season.
