St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy Prize Money 2020
First held in Saint Petersburg in 2003, the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy is now part of the WTA Premier tournament circuit (since 2016) and takes place in February each year just after the Australian Open.
With temperatures as low as minus nine degrees Celcius in the city at that time of year, the tournament is played on indoor hard courts at the Sibur Arena.
Fortunately for the players, there's a hefty prize money pool on offer to help fund their travels to warmer shores and for 2020 the total prize money pool is $782,900 which is a 3.30% rise on 2019. Although the qualifying draw this year was just 24 players compared to 32 in previous years so more money is spread across fewer players.
The winner in 2020 will receive $146,500 up 3.5% from last year and the runner up takes home $78,160 a 3.4% rise.
