St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy Prize Money 2022

First held in Saint Petersburg in 2003, the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy is now part of the WTA 500 circuit (since 2016) and takes place in February each year, just after the Australian Open.

With temperatures as low as minus nine degrees Celcius in the city at that time of year, the tournament is played on indoor hard courts at the Sibur Arena.

Fortunately for the players, there's a hefty prize money pool on offer to help fund their travels to warmer shores, and for 2022 the total prize money pool is  $768,680, which is a 35.92% increase compared to 2021.

The champion in 2022 will receive $108,000, more than double the amount Daria Kasatkina received last year (+111.8%). The runner up gets a similar pay bump with a cheque for $108,000, a 106.2% increase.

You can see a full breakdown of the 2022 St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy prize money in the table below. A percentage change is also provided to compare with last season, and the US Dollars have been converted into £ and Euros to compare for British and European readers.
