ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, Rotterdam Prize Money 2022
The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament is the first stop on the ATP 500 tour, and the inaugural event was held in 1974.
The tournament now takes place at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam and is where Roger Federer returned to the top of the rankings in 2017 to become the oldest World Number 1 in the history of the sport.
With the third-largest bank in the Netherlands as the primary sponsor, Rotterdam offers players a healthy prize money pool, but for 2021 the total prize money has naturally taken a bit of a hit.
The total prize pool for 2022 stands at €1,208,315, a 2.69% rise compared to 2021 but still considerably lower than the 2020 figure which topped €2 million.
Along with 500 ranking points, the champion in Rotterdam this year will walk away with €109,565 a small 2.3% increase compared to the amount Andrey Rublev received when he landed the title last year.
Those increases are reflected across the board for the main draw with only final-round qualifying losers seeing double-digit percentage growth with an 11.2% increase vs 2021 (€7,070 in prize money).
