Rothesay Open, Nottingham Prize Money 2022
The Nottingham Open is a combined WTA 250, and ATP Challenger event played on the grass courts of the Nottingham Tennis Centre.
With grass-court tournaments in short supply, it is one of the few tournaments players can use to fine-tune their game on the surface ahead of Wimbledon.
For 2022 the event has a new title sponsor in Rothesay, and the WTA will play for a share of $239,477 in prize money, which is a slight 1.80% rise compared to last year.
The champion in Nottingham will land a cheque for $33,200, up 13.7% compared to last year.
First-round losers take home 24.1% more than those who bowed out at the first hurdle last year, with $2,725 in prize money.
For those interested in the ATP Challenger prize money, which runs concurrently, the total prize money is €134,290 (2% more than last year).
The men’s winner will take home €18,290, which is identical to what Frances Tiafoe received when he won the title in 2021.
