Hall of Fame Open, Newport Prize Money 2021

The Hall of Fame Open is an ATP 250 tournament that takes place in Newport, Rhode Island. First held in 1881, the Hall of Fame Open is the only professional tournament played on grass in North America.

Held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, it's the last chance of the season for players to use their grass-court tennis skills to bag some ranking points and, perhaps more importantly, some prize money.

For 2021 the total prize money on offer at the Hall of Fame Open is $466,870, which is down 20% compared to 2019. The 2020 tournament was cancelled due to the covid pandemic.

Alongside landing one of the rarest items on tour, a grass-court title, the champion in Newport will receive $45,795, a drop of -54.5% vs the amount John Isner won in 2019.

The runner up is 39.6% worse off than they would have been two years ago and receives a cheque for $32,835.

Qualifying losers and early-round losers, meanwhile, see their prize money increase slightly from 2019. For example, Round 1 losers will take home a cheque for $6,030, a small 2.6% rise.
