Open Sud De France, Montpellier Prize Money 2020
The Open Sud de France takes place in February after the Australian Open and is played on indoor hard courts. Previously known as the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon, the tournament used to take place in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region until 2009.
In 2010 the event moved to Montpellier and after skipping a year in 2011, the ATP 250 event moved to a multi-purpose venue called the Sud de France Arena.
For 2020 the total prize money in Montpellier is €606,350 which is a 15.6% rise compared to 2019. Along with 250 ranking points, the Open Sud de France champion will take home €91,010, a small 0.7% rise vs last season's offering.
In line with the rest of the tour, it's losers in qualifying and the early rounds that see some big jumps compared to 2019. For 2020, first-round qualifying losers will earn 7.4% more, taking home €1,375.
