Hamburg European Open Prize Money 2021

The Hamburg European Open traditionally takes place the week after Wimbledon and sees players make a swift return to the red European clay at this combined ATP 500 and WTA 250 tournament.

The event takes place at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center, which features a retractable roof stadium and with 500 points on offer attracts a number of top players.

For 2021, the total ATP prize money on offer at the Hamburg European Open has been revised down to €1,030,900 which is a decrease of -3.0% compared to last years rescheduled event held in September 2020.

However, the champion in Hamburg this year will bag themselves €96,035, an increase of 21.1% compared to what Andrey Rublev received in 2020.

The runner up also receives a small pay rise of 10.8% with €71,000 landing in their back pocket.

On the WTA side of things, this is the first time Hamburg has hosted a women's tournament and the total prize money on offer is €189,708. The women's champion will take home a cheque for €23,548
