Noventi Open, Halle Prize Money 2021

The Noventi Open, more commonly known by the original sponsor name, the Gerry Weber Open, is one of seven ATP evens held on grass and takes place in the small town of Halle in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The tournament regularly attracts top players and in 2015 was upgraded to an ATP 500 event. In 2019 Roger Federer won his tenth title at the event, cementing his spot as the most successful player to play there since the tournament launched in 1993.

Given those ten titles, Federer has racked up some impressive prize money in Halle and will be looking to add it in 2021. The total prize money pool for 2021 is €1,318,605 which is down -36.66% compared to 2019. The event was cancelled in 2020 due to draconian lockdowns.

The champion in Halle this year will take home a cheque for €113,785, a reduction of -73.5% vs 2019. The runner up will receive €84,075, a drop of 61.1% compared to two years ago.

The drops are mirrored across the entirety of the main draw, but losers in qualifying buck the trend and will receive a pay rise compared to 2019. Q1 losers will receive €3,565 and Q2 losers €6,750, small increases of 17.1% and 10.8% respectively.
