Terra Wortmann Open, Halle Prize Money 2022

The Terra Wortmann Open, more commonly known by the original sponsor name, the Gerry Weber Open, is one of seven ATP events held on grass and takes place in the small town of Halle in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The tournament regularly attracts top players and, in 2015, was upgraded to an ATP 500 event. In 2019 Roger Federer won his tenth title at the event, cementing his spot as the most successful player to play there since the tournament launched in 1993.

The total prize money pool for 2021 is €2,134,520, up a significant 61.88% compared to 2021, thanks to the return of fans to the stadium.

This year, the champion in Halle will take home a cheque for €399,170, a jump of 250.8% vs 2021. The runner up will receive €214,775, which is 155.5% more than twelve months ago.

The significant increases are mirrored across the entirety of the main draw, with even losers in qualifying receiving a nice pay rise. Q1 losers will receive €4,785 and Q2 losers €8,530, increasing 34.2% and 26.4%, respectively.
