The Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com is an ATP World Tour 250 event and traditionally takes place in February in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The tournament is unique in that both the ATP and ATP Champions Tour play in the same week, producing a tournament that lasts 10 days in the Sunshine State.
However, with the ATP calendar still in disarray due to the pandemic, this year Delray Beach is the first tournament of the 2021 men's tennis season, kicking off on January 5th alongside the Antalya Open.
For 2021 the prize money at the Delray Beach Open is $309,450 which is a drop of 42% compared to 2020. Along with 250 ranking points, the champion will receive $30,840 which is a big drop of -68.4% compared to last year.
Most rounds see a similar decrease in prize money compared to 2020 and even early-round losers take a small hit with the first round loser receiving $5,000, 10.2% less than 12 months ago.
