New for 2021 is the Winners Open held on the clay courts of the Winners Sports Club in Cluj Napoca.
The tournament is part of the WTA 250 circuit and it is the only womens' tour-level event held in Romania.
The total prize money on offer at the event for its maiden year is $235,238 which is the set amount at all WTA 250 tournaments for this season.
The winner in Cluj will take home a cheque for $29,200 with the runner up bagging themselves $16,398 which is the equivalent of 60,000 Romanian Leu.
