The Argentina Open is the second tournament of the Latin American “Golden Swing”, and takes place at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club, known as the “Cathedral of Argentinean tennis”.
For 2022 the total prize money at the Argentina Open has made a resurgence and the total prize money pool is $602,250 which is an 18.84% increase compared to 2021's offering.
The champion in Buenos Aires this year will take home a cheque for $91,600 which is more than double the amount (+103%) Diego Schwartzman received when he ended his home soil title drought twelve months ago.
The runner-up receives $53,435, a 61.9% increase vs 2021. While those who bow out in the first round also receive 5.9% more than last year with $6,460 paid into their coffers.
