Hungarian Grand Prix, Budapest Prize Money 2021

2021 sees the return of the Budapest Grand Prix (also Hungarian Grand Prix) which is a WTA 250 tournament that takes place at the Europe Tennis Center in the Hungarian Capital.

Last held in 2013, the event was replaced by the Bucharest Open but makes a return in 2021 as part of the post Wimbledon mini clay-court swing. It is not to be confused with the Hungarian Ladies Open last held in 2019.

For 2021, the total prize money on offer at the Hungarian Grand Prix is $235,238 which is down compared to when it was last held eight years ago.

The champion in Budapest will receive a cheque for $29,200 which is down -32.09% compared to eight years ago, an anomaly due to the pandemic which has seen price money cut significantly.

You can see a full breakdown of prize money for singles and doubles below, a % change is also included to compare with previous seasons.
