Brisbane International Prize Money 2020

Played at the Queensland Tennis Centre, the Brisbane International is now solely a WTA Premier event after the ATP Cup replaced the Brisbane and Sydney ATP events.

The tournament is extremely popular with fans in the Brisbane area and it's also the tournament where Roger Federer claimed his 1000th match win.

How the tournament performs as a standalone WTA tournament is anyone's guess but with Tennis Australia helping bankroll these events the total prize money on offer for 2020 is a hefty $1,434,900 which is 59.8% up on last year.

As a WTA Premier event, the champion this year will walk away with $266,000 which is a 41.3% rise when compared to 2019. The runner up will receive an equally impressive $142,000 which is a similar 41.2% increase.

It's not just good money for those who make the latter stages either with first-round losers bagging $12,000 and even those who bow in the first round of qualifying take home $1,900 which is 78.4% up on last year.
