European Open, Antwerp Prize Money 2021
Part of the ATP 250 series of tournaments, the European Open in Antwerp is the only tour-level event held on Belgian soil.
First held in 2016, the tournament takes place at the Lotto Arena and has been dominated by the French and British, with Gasquet and Tsonga winning in 2016 and 2017, followed by Kyle Edmund and Andy Murray in 2018 2019, respectively.
The event held in October presents an excellent opportunity for players who are still in the running to qualify for the ATP Finals to grab some last-minute ranking points.
Not only that, the prize money on offer helps fill the coffers too. For 2021 the total European Open prize money stands at €508,600, up 28.8% compared to last year's event, which suffered a depletion in prize money due to the pandemic.
For 2021, the winner in Antwerp will bag themselves €49,885, an increase of 65.4% compared to 2019.
The runner up receives a similar boost vs two years ago with a cheque for €35,770, up 49.0%.
