European Open, Antwerp Prize Money 2020

Part of the ATP 250 series of tournaments, the European Open in Antwerp is the only tour-level event held on Belgian soil.

First held in 2016, the tournament takes place at the Lotto Arena and has so far been dominated by the French and British, with Gasquet and Tsonga winning in 2016 and 2017, followed by Kyle Edmund and Andy Murray in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

With the event held in October, it presents a great opportunity for players who are still in the running to qualify for the ATP Finals to grab some last-minute ranking points.

Not only that, the prize money on offer helps fill the coffers too and for 2020 the total European Open prize money stands at €394,800 which is understandably down (-37.9%) given the economic hardships caused by the global Covid 19 pandemic.

For 2020, the winner in Antwerp will bag themselves €30,160 a drop of 72.5% compared to 2019. It's only first-round loser and qualifying losers who see a boost in pay this season with those who make the main draw receiving a minimum of €6,565 up 2.5% on last year.
