peRFect Tennis Site Update

As you probably will have noticed I've completely overhauled the design of this site to the point where it's completely unrecognisable from how it looked before. First of all, I hope everyone likes it and that it's an improvement. Hopefully it's easier to navigate, easier to read and just generally better. Thankfully the changeover went smoothly, and the only real annoyance was that I realised I'd spelled Cincinnati wrong every single time I'd written it within a blog post!

I decided to change the design for a number of reasons – mainly because I felt like the old design wasn't as future proof as I'd like, and it felt like I could outgrow it quite quickly, it was already starting to get a little cluttered and it wasn't as easy to navigate as I'd like. I also wanted to move to something that looked a little more magazine based, ideally, as this site grows, I'd like to feature regular guest contributors and I think this new layout provides the peRFect platform for that to happen.

Anyway, feel free to leave me any feedback in the comments below or through the contact form. And let's all hope Fed's back heals in time for the Australian Open which starts on January 16th.

Huge fan of Roger Federer. I watch all his matches from Grand Slam level right down to ATP 250. When I'm not watching or writing about tennis I play regularly myself and have a keen interest in tactics, equipment and technicalties of the sport.

  1. A sharp new look to the blog Jonathan – I like it!

I was quite impressed with your site before but now it’s even easier to navigate between the posts with the various new tournament categories, a very crisp finish.

    Top job.
