Federer’s New Holiday Home in the Swiss Alps
Here's a sneaky picture of Roger's new house in the Swiss Alps, rumoured to be costing $17.5 million to build. Or as I like to call it, pocket change.
According to reports in the Swiss Media this construction is going to be 2 separate luxury chalets, one for Roger, Mirka & the twins, and the other for Fed's parents Robert and Lynette. The buildings will be linked together and I'd hazard a guess there might be a tennis court in the garden.
The house is being built on a 8,000 sq. metre plot in an area called Graubünden, I'm guessing it's a quiet area, and will be even quieter once the privacy trees have been planted around the perimeter. It's also rumoured that the master bedroom is the size of a regular apartment. One thing's for certain though, it's going to be the plushest pad in town.
I'm gonna have to blame it on the Christmas post, but as of yet, I haven't received my house warming invitation. Will keep you updated on that one.
Marriage will be over in months if he is planning on living in a house with his folks!
$17.5 million on a house. I thought he still lived in a 2 bed semi in Basel.
Wish I could afford something like that – instead of this Versailles size estate I currently occupy:-)
I’m still hoping Fed stumbles onto my blog and invites me on tour as a hitting partner!
Looks awesome. Your blog is coming on well too. One of these days you may even be able to challenge me 😉
I know some pad huh! I hope some pictures of the inside come out when it’s finished. Bet it’s the best equipped kitchen in the world. Haha I’m a long way of that off man!
